My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Lotus from a local shelter in Sept. The vet said she is a flame point Balinese. She is between 5 - 6 years old. Since adopting her my work situation has changed and I'm traveling way too much to have a pet. I will be leaving in a few weeks for an out-of-state job that will last several months.

Lotus is the sweetest kitty; she can only go to a very loving home - preferably with cat experience. She is an indoor only cat and likes to be treated like a princess. She is quiet; meows like baby lamb. Once she trusts, is super friendly, loves to sit on your lap and purr. She bonded to me quite quickly and loves to be brushed. She does prefer to be the one to initiate holding and petting, but usually comes when called. A calm home environment is preferred. In Oct. she had 5 teeth extracted that were beginning to reabsorb. She is in excellent health, but vet said no guarantee that years down the line she may have a tooth that needs attention. Very common in cats.
