My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB: Oct. 18, 2019

Adorable Aruba is available for adoption! She is a super sweet grey and white kitten. Aruba is the definition of a lap cat and purring machine. She loves people, cuddling, craves attention and is very playful!

Aruba has moderate to severe CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). Do you know what that means? No? Well that’s okay. Here is a link to learn all about other special kitties like her: http://chcat.org/about-ch-cats/

Aruba is still growing so we don’t know how much more her condition will improve; once she’s full grown, that will be as much progress as she will make. She can eat on her own and does her best to use the litterbox. Both activities will sometimes cause her to need help getting cleaned up – but she’s happy to let you help! Her adopter will have to understand that multiple modifications to her environment will need to be made. Carpeting is a must to help her grip the floor and get around.

Aruba doesn’t believe she has any limitations! This joyful girl plays with her siblings, enjoying toys and wrestling like any other kitten.

Aruba is looking for a special home who will understand both she and her brother Tobago. Their adopter should be experienced with CH kittens or should do thorough research before considering adopting them. Adopters must be patient and willing to give Aruba the extra care she needs. But the rewards are great! CH kittens tend to be especially loving and affectionate. Aruba’s foster caregiver says she and Tobago are completely worth the extra care and are a joy to have around!!

Aruba and her brother will be a wonderful addition to the right home.

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! In this special case, Tobago’s adoption fee is our standard $175, but his sister Aruba is an adoption fee of your choice.
