My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB: Oct. 18, 2019

Beautiful Tobago is available for adoption! He is a very sweet grey and white kitten. Tobago is very affectionate and cuddly. He has a lot of energy so if he’s awake he’s running around and playing!

Tobago has mild CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). Do you know what that means? No? Well that’s okay. Here is a link to learn all about other special kitties like him: http://chcat.org/about-ch-cats/

Tobago’s mild CH means he’s more wobbly than a typical kitten. He mostly loses his games of tag with his other siblings because running makes him wobble more and even fall over. But he loves the chase and is never discouraged. Carpeting would help him get traction and keep his balance. He may continue to improve until he’s fully grown but we don’t know how much and he will always have some wobbliness.

While he is very good about using his litter box he does have the occasional accident. Adopters will need to be patient and know that it’s not his fault and certainly not on purpose. There are litterbox modifications you can do to help him be more successful.

Tobago is looking for a special home who will understand both him and his sister Aruba. Their adopter should be experienced with CH kittens or should do thorough research before considering adopting them. Adopters must be patient and willing to give Tobago the extra care he needs. But the rewards are great! CH kittens tend to be especially loving and affectionate. Tobago’s foster caregiver says he and Aruba are completely worth the extra care and are a joy to have around!!

Tobago and his sister will be a wonderful addition to the right home.

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! In this special case, Tobago’s adoption fee is our standard $175, but his sister Aruba is an adoption fee of your choice.
