Maggie May is a former street cat from the mean streets of south los angeles.
However, she is a big softy at heart, and was not cut out for life on the streets. She was surrendered to us with her son Tommy Pickles, and the two share a very close bond.
She has taken some TLC to get to be the lovable weirdo that she is now. She's missing a few teeth, so her little tongue pokes out at you a lot of the time. We think we were the first hands to actually pet her, so it took some time to build up her trust. She's not comfortable being held but she sort of enjoys it and will awkwardly make biscuits.
However, she really enjoys lap time. And: dinnertime. Holy moly does this little girl love her food. She will give you a quiet squawk if you take too long to feed her, but she will head bonk you in appreciation for filling up her bowl. Once her tummy is full, she is happy to take a nap on your lap and help you catch up on your netflix binge watching.
She's an older girl, and she will need one more dental appointment before an adoption can be finalized. But she's got so much love to give in her golden years.
We would love to see her get adopted with her son Tommy Pickles. <3
