My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Alex. Alex is a border collie mix, approximately 8-9 weeks old. Alex came to us from our local shelter. We rescued him and his siblings from the overcrowded shelter. Alex is such a sweet boy and so eager to please. He is great with kids, other dogs, and even cats (but at this age, how can he not be okay with cats). Alex is a pre-adopt puppy at this time. He will not be ready to go to his new home until February 21st. Wouldn't you like to make him part of your family? He would truly be a great addition. :)

Alex is located in Alabama and being housed in our rescue here. The adoption fee of $375 includes all age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, current flea/tick & heart worm preventative, a certificate of health from our veterinarian, as well as, transportation fee of $175. You will also receive a copy of all medical records in a pet health record folder. Microchipping is available but additional fees are incurred.

Pita & Pecan's Animal Refuge is an Alabama based rescue and all of our animals reside with us at our homes or with a foster. We adopt our animals both locally and out-of-state in order to allow us to find the best possible home for our babies of all breeds and species.
