DOB: Approx. August 2019 - Adopted w/Nugget Jan 2020
While at first glance Houdini appears to be a brown tabby, a closer look reveals hints of orange throughout her coat, actually making her a tortoiseshell tabby, or "torbie". Every tortoiseshell has a pattern unique to only herself, making Dini, as she is affectionately called, one of a kind!
Originally named Houdini by her finder (due to her escape artist ability), Dini now likes to stick around and soak up the love! She is f riendly, interested in people, and startles easily but loves to be touched and is a bonafide lap cat.
Dini is your typical playful kitten with other fosters, her instincts go into "hunting mode" when the cat wand comes out! Snuggling and mutual grooming sessions also come high up on her list of favourite past times.
Dini takes every opportunity to turn wrestling into grooming sessions, and the way she waits for you to make the first move before graciously accepting your affections will make you laugh!
Once she's on your lap, she flattens to make maximum contact between you and her, and lovely pets make her flop over sideways to expose her tummy for some of that attention!
Although she is a bit cautious with new people/situations, she warms up quickly with a gentle approach, or even better - playtime to break the ice! Dini gets along well with familiar cats but will need some time to cozy up to new cats.
Houdini MUST be adopted with her brother, Nugget. The two are best friends, and we'd like to see them adopted together.
