Hello friends! My name is Skye and I am ready to be your new playmate! I am 14 months old and I weigh 20 pounds. I had a terrible start in life. I was allowed to run the streets and eventually I was hit by a car. I was taken to the shelter, but my hip was broken and I was not eligible for adoption. Thank goodness my kind Russell Rescue, Inc. foster mom came and got me out of there. I had an operation on my hip and now I am good to go! I was spayed and given all my vaccinations also. I like all dogs and people and enjoy everything about life. I’m a perfect example of that cute song called “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. I am one of those girls who can play all day and still be ready for more fun at night. My perfect home will be with someone who is not gone all day. Having an owner that spends time with me would be so nice. I also like other dogs and will definitely need a companion dog who wants to play and romp. I love to play! No kids as they make me a little nervous. I’m not used to them. A securely fenced yard is an absolute must. Being an inside dog is also a must. Foster mom says a visit to your home and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt me. My adoption fee is $275. I sleep in my crate at night, plus I eat in my crate as I have a tendency to be a bit food aggressive. I am a low-rider with a beautiful full, thick rough coat.
