Panda Bear (age 13) and Cubby Bear (age 11) are a bonded pair of Bichon-ShihTzu mixes (Teddy Bear Dogs). They are both neutered and Vet checked in October when they both had full dental cleanings. Both are up to date on vaccines and have been very well cared for over the years. Both are good with other dogs and with both adults & children. Panda is very laid back and likes to nap. Cubby is very curious and likes to play with toys and very charming.
Their mommy had to move up to PA from the south when her husband passed away so she could be closer to her daughter. She moved to an apartment and now works full time to support herself as her social security just isn't enough to survive. Panda & Cubby are not use to being in an apartment all alone all day without anyone home with them and they have been barking a lot of the time when she is at work. She has gotten 3 warnings already and is afraid they are going to evict her so she is heartbrokenly having to give them up. She cannot move again as she signed a lease and can't get out of it and can't afford to move again even if she could.
They would do best in a home where someone is home with them most or part of the time. They would also be better in a house (not an apartment or condo), as they do bark when you leave them alone. You need to be willing to adopt BOTH of them together... as we don't want to pull them apart after being together their whole lives, losing their daddy, having to move to a strange place and now losing their mommy.
Willing to accept anyone that lives in New Jersey, Southern NY, East or South PA, Delaware, Maryland or even Northern VA. Further distances may be approved as well. (Must be within driving distance and willing to drive all or most of the way, as we do not fly or ship dogs)
