Foster Update:
Doc is a dream and is loving life outside of his crate! An absolute GEM of a dog who is very sweet and tame, but shy at first. He gets startled easily as he is getting use to new sounds outside (trash trucks, sirens, street sweepers, lawn mowers, etc). Once he warms up, he is very playful, curious, active, and wants to constantly be by your side. He is gentle with a very loving and calm nature. He would be the IDEAL dog for a family looking to add a second dog to the home. He is extremely friendly and loves the attention of other animals (prefers our dogs to us). He is very interested in cats and would need a proper introduction, might take some time.
He is fully potty trained and walks very well on a leash. Walks are probably his new favorite thing! He will need a little training when it comes to approaching other dogs on walks, you can tell he was never socialized in his previous home, but is very eager to meet everyone he sees.
He needs a little patience and someone who is willing to help build his confidence outside his crate and show him lots of love.
