My story

Beautiful Kitties In Need of a Great Home…

My Husband and I have the very good fortune to have brought into our home several wonderful kitties that need a good home. They are varied in color, coat pattern and design. The ladies are small at an average of 5 pounds and Harry, the male is about 10 pounds. They are sweet and enjoy human companionship - especially conversation while getting a good ear massage. They have come a long way from being the scared kitties they were when we rescued them. They are very settled, mature adults with charming personalities.

To accommodate the Group we have built a very large condo for them as our senior dogs aren’t too keen on these felines being part of the family. They are doing very well there, however, they need a forever home where they can get the attention they deserve and become a loved member of a good family.

Since these kitties have spent years living in the wild, fending off predators and suffering the weather…they wish to be indoors and members of the family. They love the comfort and warmth of soft pillows and kitty beds and use the litter box reliably.

All the kitties are fully vet’d. They have been tested for disease, had their shots and have been either spayed or neutered. Some injuries have been addressed as well. Since this is a somewhat expensive process we presently have a Go Fund Me page up to raise the funds to compliment the money we are contributing to the cause. Here is a link to the site. More information about the kitties and pictures are listed there.

We have posted select pictures of several of the kitties on this listing and the Go Fund Me Page, which will be updated as we are able to catch the remaining cats belonging to this colony. Since the number of pictures you can post is limited we have picked a few at random. We have pictures of everyone should you have a specific color and pattern in mind. We would be pleased to email those to you.

We would very much like to interest you in adopting one or more of these extra ordinary kitties. If you would be so kind as to contact me by phone or email (816-824-5643 or ksaccurso@yahoo.com) we can arrange a time to meet that is mutually convenient.

Thank you in advance for reading our listing and hopefully taking time to talk and visit us. We very much look forward to hearing from you.

More about this rescue

Animal FAIR is a group of dedicated volunteers rescuing cats from abuse, abandonment, neglect, illness and more. We are a non-profit, no kill animal rescue based in Sedalia, Missouri! Our rescues are placed in foster homes, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, ensured physical and emotional health, good socialization, and then adopted into carefully screened homes. We also educate the community on responsible pet ownership and encourage spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation.
