Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Petey. My foster picked me up from a downtown intersection one rainy morning right after I was abandoned. She managed to put a strong, scared boy like me in her car and took me home where she fed me and nursed me back to health. I was skinny and had lots of scabs and scars all over. She got me all handsome and healthy, neutered and chipped. Then, she found me a home that didn't work out. There's more to that story than I'm telling because I wasn't quite as strong and healthy when she took me back. Anyway, she has me all better again, and now I'm a 60 pound goof ball who likes to run and play. My foster mom doesn't have a fenced yard, so running is a challenge. And, pouncing and playing with her lazy, grumpy senior rescue dog makes him even grumpier! I'm learning good manners, I love the dog park, and I'm a very sweet boy but I really want a home of my own where I can snuggle with my furever family. P.S., I'm quite good at grabbing a blanket and taking it to our bed!
