My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Last Valentine’s Day, this cute little puppy was named Stocking, and was adopted through Roseys Rescue to a friend of a friend.
Her name was changed to Star and this year she is homeless because her parents are getting a divorce. The husband doesn't want her and she was put outside on a chain 6 months ago. The wife moved out and couldn't take her with her.
Star is a shepherd mix and spayed, up to date on vaccines, wormed and microchipped.
She is currently being boarded at A Country Kennel, to keep her out of the cold weather, until she gets adopted.
I was told by the former owner she is housebroken, but that is yet to be determined. She hasn't made any potty mistakes, while she has been in boarding. She is quiet in a crate.
I was told she was ok with cats and other dogs, but we tested her yesterday, with another dog, and she was terrified.
I was also told she loves to play fetch, but again, that is to be determined. The former owner was not forthcoming with the truth, so we are having to get to know Star all over again. Star is starving for affection and still has a lot of puppy qualities. She could certainly benefit from training classes, as she has zero confidence.
