Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, Nina here. I am a 12 lb, 8 year old pup who is lovable, funny and playful. Sitting in your lap or snuggled up beside you is where I want to be. Hope you are willing to share your bed, because I love that. Don't worry, I don't hog the blankets or get in your way. I will sleep at your feet. More than anything I want to be your best buddy. I love to play with toys so I hope you like to play too. I can entertain myself but it is so much more fun to have a playmate.
Show me the leash and I am ready to go in the car or for a walk. When it is time to eat, I will not turn my nose up at what you serve.
Housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Heartworm and Lyme diseases, and microchipped, I am the complete package.
Now, I will admit that I am not perfect. I am a bit of a diva. I want to be your one and only. I would prefer a home without children or other pets. It is not that I can't get along with others, I can, I just don't want to share my people. My ideal parents would be experienced dog owners who know how to set limits.
Because I am so stinking cute, people may find it hard to say no to me. Just like a child , if you don't let me know what is okay/not okay, I might try to be the boss. Strangers frighten me so I would prefer to be in my crate where I feel safe when you have visitors.
Hope to meet my future parents soon!

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
