Shawn!

Shawn is a male possibly Shepherd/Lab mix, but all of the pups in his litter look very different, so we're not really sure! Shawn was born in late May 2019 and was rescued in Alabama. Shawn is a special, happy little boy who wants nothing more than to be loved. Shawn was born with hydrocephalus, which causes him to bob his head a bit, and he has a bit of a balance issue.  Shawn has conquered stairs, but sometimes slides or falls when he walks although he does fine outside.  Shawn loves his stuffed toys! He likes being outside and going for walks.  Shawn is on daily medication which he takes easily.  Did we say he loves his stuffies?!! This adorable boy loves people and gets so excited when someone pets him or plays with him. Shawn is neutered, housebroken, friendly with dogs (though he would be fine as an only dog), great with people, and in fact, Shawn loves meeting new people, but older children might be best for Shawn as he tends to be nippy with food.  If you are that special someone that can give this special boy the loving forever home he deserves, please apply online at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org . 

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
