My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Chloe” 8 month old Shih Tzu female

“Chloe”  8 month old Shih Tzu female

Say hello to Chloe, a pure breed Shih Tzu puppy!  Chloe came to us from a shelter severely underweight and recovering from cherry eye surgery.  She has since fully recovered and is learning everything she needs to know for her future forever home.  She gets along beautifully with both dogs in her foster family (one of which is very grouchy).  Her favorite activity is cuddling, hands down!  She loves to curl up on or next to you every chance she gets!  She would love to spend her nights sleeping in your bed but is just as comfortable in her own bed as long as she can see you.  She keeps her self busy with a large assortment of toys and loves to play fetch in the yard.  She does really well by her self with the proper amount of exercise.  She doesn't have any of the typical destructive puppy behavior but does tend to whine a little when left alone, she misses you!  A quick game of fetch or walk takes care of it though.  She is very sweet and quite small for a Shih Tzu. A pure breed puppy that's current on all of her vaccines, spayed and house trained, an impossible find made possible with Chloe!

When chloe came to us she needed cherry eye surgery which has been done and she is completely healed. Cherry eye is the term used to refer to canine tear duct gland prolapse, a common congenital eye defect in various dog breeds where the gland of the third eyelid known as the nictitating membrane  prolapses and becomes visible creating a small red mass in the corner of the eye. It was easily corrected by surgery and now she is looking good!
