Introducing Piper!
This adorable, goofy, happy 6yr old purebred, English Springer Spaniel is ready to find his forever family!
Piper is all things good in this world, a happy smile, super easy going personality, loves other dogs, great with cats and children, and adores people.
Piper's absolute favourite things in the world besides having new friends, are balls! He will bring it back and drop for you to throw again and again.
Piper loves hiking, swimming and would love to have a family who is active and up for new adventures with him to live his best new life with.
Piper was surrendered through no fault of his own when his previous family had no time for him. He was accustomed to having someone around often, so although he does just fine when left alone, we'd prefer a home where he won't spend the entire day every day alone in his new home.
Piper is crate trained, housetrained, travels like a dream in the car, and has many obedience skills mastered. Whoever adopts this darling boy will be a lucky family indeed.
Hobo Haven is located in St Jacobs Ontario. Our foster families are within 45 mins of our location. We do not accept application more than 1hr distance away since we do require a home visit prior to approving any adoptions.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4DX and other blood testing, urinalysis if needed, fecal testing, deworming if needed, dentals if needed, grooming, medication and medical treatment for any concerns, and parasite treatment as needed.
For anyone possibly interested in adopting from Hobo Haven, here are a few, but not all, criteria to be aware of:
An adoption application must be completed and approved, as well as a home visit, prior to meeting available dogs. All dogs are placed in loving foster homes during their time with us, and out of respect for their privacy, we do not allow applicants to visit until approved for adoptions. Piper's adoption fee is $600
This adoption fee doesn't begin to cover the actual costs of vetting, food and care while in our rescue. Our vet fees have increased dramatically in 2020 with price increases from our vet clinics. Some of our dogs have incurred vet bills over $4000.
