Meet the cutest and friendliest Lab mix two-year-old – Melia! Rescued with her pal Kita from high-kill Clayton County shelter, Melia has the most adorable eyes and easy-going personality. She gets along great with big and small dogs as well as the young children in her foster’s home. Melia weighs 45lbs and she is so eager to please! She’s loyal and lovable and ready to be your family’s fun and entertainment! Melia is working on her basic commands and her leash kills too- she learns quickly and is super smart. We’ve not had her around cats yet but we hope to do that soon. Melia would enjoy a good daily walk or run, but loves her snuggle and curl-up on the couch time too! She’s great in the house- quiet and calm. Melia is good in the car and enjoys accompanying you on all your adventures. Social with humans and animals- Miss Melia will make a great family dog. She’d be a good candidate for day care or maybe even going to work with you? Melia loves to play ball and fetch and would love another dog or kids in the family to play with her. Melia is crate-trained and house-trained and will be spayed next week. Her $300 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations and micro-chip.
