Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Little Man! He is 4 years old and weighs 18 pounds!! He is a super sweet, beautiful black and tan boy!! Little man takes 2 different seizure medications that control his epileptic seizures and they cost about $40 per month. He is also on a prescription urinary diet but the cost of the food is no more than a high quality dog food and he does not eat very much. Poor Little Man had to have a second bladder stone surgery last week, his momma couldn’t afford it and was going to be put to sleep at the vet. So they reached out to us to see if we could take him. He wouldn’t typically need the second surgery if she had kept him on his special diet to keep the stones from forming. She said she couldn’t afford to feed him the prescription food, we think it was more because he is a little picky. We have him eating it now just fine. There are no guarantees with his condition and it is possible for bladder stones to reform so he needs a family who can afford his future care, he will most likely be fine! He needs a quiet easy going home to fit his personality. He was an only pet but gets along great here with everyone, he is soooo sweet!! Little Man's adoption fee is a $250 donation.
