My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

VELVET has made great strides in the friendliness department but still needs a patient owner. She is about a year and a half old, a petite gray dilute tortie tiger kitty with soft fur. She came with a bunch of kittens, who have since been adopted. Now it’s Velvet’s turn for a home of her own. She is still very shy and hasn’t yet gotten up the courage to come out and interact with the other cats in the room, preferring just to observe so far.

We can pat her now but any more familiarity is usually met by a little defensive hiss and flattening of the ears. Eventually she will decide that humans really can be trusted and then may even be a lap cat or at least curled up at one end of your sofa. Come and meet this little sweetheart. Maybe she will pick you.
