My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bo is a 3-year-old neutered male yellow lab. DogName weighs 40 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION:

Jan 18, 2017: Bo is very easy, friendly with everyone and his tail is always wagging. Thinks getting attention is great and rewards you with a nice lab lean and kisses. He likes to be with you, is just starting to learn to play. He has learned the kennel routine and enjoys going out to play with the other lab rescue dogs. He would like a family that will give him plenty of attention and care. He will make someone a very nice companion.

Kids 10 and up as we don't have any history. Good with other dogs, likes playing with the other LR pups at the kennel. No cat history I did take him to the cat room where he met one of the cats but wasn’t interested in it. It's an indication he may be good with cats. Knows sit and come, working on down. Pulls on lead as he hasn’t been on one much, good with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained may be house trained as he is keeping his room clean at the kennel.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. Adopters must travel to Maryland or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An application fee and adoption fee are charged to help cover the cost of veterinary care, and a reference check and home visit are required.
