Bindy and her brother Colt came to the shelter as strays who had gone into a home and didn't leave. After about three days, the humane officer picked them up. They were given a kennel together at the shelter so they could comfort one another in their new surroundings, and, yes, they seem to be a bonded pair. Therefore, they must stay together. They are small with Bindy at 8.4 pounds and Colt at 8.6 pounds. They are about 2 years old. We are unsure about the breed mix, but our best guess is that they have both chihuahua and basenji in them. (They do not have a typical dog bark!) These are two small dogs in the kennels with large dogs and loud dogs around them, so they are scared. Who will adopt them both and give them the TLC they need to become comfortable and secure? That is what they need, and it will take time and love. But the reward will be two devoted and loving family members for a long time!
