My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is 12-year-old Puss, who is bonded with her brother, the aptly named Boots. Boots is the handsome sleek black cat in the last photo above. They were recently surrendered by a loving owner.

Puss has been a bit nervous and grouchy since coming to the shelter, but her previous owner assures us that at home she was social, vocal, and slept on her bed every night. Despite these changes, she is accepting of pets and has been cautiously checking out her new surroundings. So far she's enjoying finding little hideaways to tuck herself into when she's not patrolling the space.

Boots is much more outgoing right now, a real explorer and lover of people - he's a total lap cat! Puss does have some medical issues that at this point are considered minor.

Boots and Puss are being fostered in Broken Tail Rescue, located in the Cambridge PetSmart at Fresh Pond, and their adoption fee is $100 each.
