Meet active and affectionate McBurgess! At 8-months old, McBurgess is fun, smart and very playful. He loves other dogs and humans to and he’s so ready to learn from you. McBurgess was rescued off the streets of Altanta and he’s now in foster care with Jillian of Training to The Rescue. McBurgess still needs to add a few pounds to his 30lb frame, but he’s doing that while growing and learning his basic commands. We aren’t sure what his mix is but we see heeler (blue eyes) and Boston terrer. McBurgess is on the small side now but we expect him to weigh about 35lbs at full growth. McBurgess loves to play, and his foster has had all kinds of dogs, big and small. He’s been fine with the foster kitties too. McBurgess would love an active family to play with and exercise him and continue his basic obedience. McBurgess would be great at agility, flyball and even advanced training. He is so eager to please! He takes correction well (from humans and dogs) and is crate trained and house trained. Just the best little dude ever! McBurgess is a bit playful for small toddlers as he is a puppy, but children a bit older will be great because they can play with him. McBurgess loves to cuddle and enjoys his naptime after a walk or playtime. He will be a super exercise partner as he loves the outdoors and is ready to go on any adventure. McBurgess is affectionate and adorable- with long legs and big ears one blue and one brown eye! McBurgess is working on his leash training and would benefit from an older dog in his new home so he can learn from them but also have a playmate! He’d also love a fenced yard but would do fine in an urban setting with daily exercise. McBurgess is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
