My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Addy is a very sweet 5-8 yr old girl. She was a hunting dog who was dumped by a heartless hunter after they were done breeding her and using her to hunt. Luck for Addy a good samaritan found her on the side of the highway trying to get the attention of truckers to beg for food. She took Addy home with her and we were able to get her vetted and transported to our rescue from NC. Addy is SUPER sweet, she just wants love. She loves to cuddle and be loved on. She puts her paw on you to let you know she wants to be pet, it's so beautiful. This little girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Addy has medium energy. She's playful when she's outside, loves to sniff everything like a typical beagle, inside she's calm, loves to nap in the sun. Addy weighs ~20 lbs.
