My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colby is a happy little broken coat terrier puppy. He’s about 5 months old and weighs 18 pounds as of February 15th. He is frisky, energetic, smart, loving, frisky, snuggly, playful. Did I say frisky? He needs a securely fenced yard and someone who is accustomed to the terrier personality. It would be great if his new owner could be home at least part of the time. He’s way too young to be left home alone all day long. If you work nine hours a day you are not the right home for him. Colby has had all his vet work done and he is microchipped. His adoption fee is $275. In order to adopt him you will need to be comfortable with a home visit and have a good vet reference. Kids over 12 years of age are okay. He requires a home with no cats, no other male dogs, no little critters like hamsters, parakeets, etc. He will get along best with larger sized female dogs. Colby’s adopter must be able to drive to the San Antonio/Fair Oaks, Texas area to get him. If you are interested you will need to fill out the online adoption application at www.russellrescue.com.
