Turi and his mate, Pixie, were surrendered to the rescue by their owner, who no longer wanted them after they had a litter of puppies. Turi is only 1.5 years old - he should be playing, instead of thrown out into a backyard to breed. We are glad he is now in our care so we can find an appropriate family for him. Turi appears to be a Pomeranian mix and he weighs approximately 15 pounds. He has been taken to our vet and has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Turi is heartworm positive so it is clear that he was not taken care of by his former owner. He has begun heartworm treatment in our care. He is very sweet and friendly. We will know more about him as he settles into his foster home. He appears to get along with dogs and cats alike. He has not been exposed to children in his foster home. Turi's adoption fee is $350. Turi is currently in his foster home in Houston, Texas.
