Patches was adopted out to a family with small children from San Jose Shelter, but was returned due to
A “bite”. The staff at SJACS felt whatever happened was not the fault of the dog, as she is a very young playful large dog, not a mean bone in her body. They kept her for rescue only, and reached out to ACGSR to see if we would consider her. After having her evaluated with people and other dogs, we said “yes”. Patches is in her foster home in Modesto. We know is she is very sweet and loving, but best for a couple or family with older children who know how to behave with a large dog, and experience with the breed.
