Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our family adopted sweet little Pearl as a 8 week old kitten. A few weeks later we realized she couldn’t seem to hear us. Sure enough, the vet confirmed she was almost completely deaf. Our little cuddlier had some quirkiness, but mostly a normal kitty, just couldn’t hear us. She started off as an indoor only cat and then showing such enthusiasm for the birds outside and us not having enough time to adequately play with her, we started to allow her to go outside. Now she enjoys being outside almost exclusively and even for a deaf cat does great! Bird watching is of course one of her favorite pastimes! Pearl is a friendly and playful cat, but we just simply don’t have the time needed to care for her with our young family. Our preference is that she finds a indoor/outdoor home that can give her the extra attention she needs as a deaf kitty and even maybe add an additional cat to her life to bond further with.
