Hi! I’m Abby! I am a happy-go-lucky, loving, and loyal girl. I didn’t have the best start in life but that hasn’t stopped me from loving life! You see, I had a family, but when my leg was badly injured they didn’t take care of me and instead put me in a shelter. Luckily, the nice rescue people came along and brought me to a vet. My leg was too damaged to be fixed by then so they had to remove it. But,thanks to them, I’m not in pain anymore and you would be amazed at how well I get around on 3 legs! Despite how I was treated in the past, I love everyone I meet! I love to be with my people at all times (and I think those baby gates you put up to try to stop me are just jumping hurdles). I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE to play, especially with TOYS!! Soccer balls and chew toys are my favorite! I am always ready for an adventure so I would really love a fun, active family. Even though I am a ball of energy my foster mom says I’m really well behaved. I come running whenever she calls me (I love yummy treats too!). I’m very smart and food motivated so I learn things very quickly. I like to play with other dogs too but I’m an “in your face” kind of girl so my dog friends need to understand that. I am learning to share my stuff and my human’s attention but that can be hard for me sometimes. I like to be the center of attention and where the action is! When I’m done playing and it’s time to wind down, I am an expert cuddler. I’m also well behaved in my crate. My foster family says I deserve the best forever family out there since I have so much love to give! So if you want to spoil someone with lots of toys and treats, I’m your girl!!
