My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Peanut. I am 1 year old and was born on Christmas Day. I came into CCDR because my owner could no longer take care of me. I came with my sister Holly. I like playing with my Foster brother who is also a Dachshund. I had surgery to remove a pea size tumor and it was found not cancerous. My hair never grew back so I'm bald on my hind leg. The bump is back and we think it could be an ingrown hair follicle. I do have accidents and piddle when over excited/nervous. I have some spots where my hair could be grown in so my foster mom is feeding me Halo w/ salmon. I also had a problem sucking when I was a puppy and my tongue does not come out all the way. I was hand fed and when I got to my foster mom's because I would only eat out of her hand but hopefully as I have gotten more comfortable here I now eat out of the bowl. Holly and I need to be adopted together. I love to climb in your lap and cuddle and will keep you warm at night. My adoption fee is $250 and I'm in a foster home in Crofton, MD.
