Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I've been sheltering in place as a trained-but-energetic 11/2-year male Rhodesian Ridgeback hoping to rehome. I love my family and am glued to them. But I need more exercise to be happy and healthy. I am easily bored, so sometimes, I chase the cats. I have been to puppy class and have had in-home training. I sit, down and often stay when I choose to because usually there is a tug toy or balls in play for fetch. I love running for miles each day, so I'm an incredible dog for a runner or for an active family with a big yard. Frequent or fast walks around a long block is good too, or going to the cabin or to the dog park. The dog beach is my absolute favorite. Should I go too fast, I slow down if told to "heel."
I love to cuddle on the couch and like a shower. But I'll protect you--I'm wary of strangers and bark until I am told to "shush" or given a treat to redirect. I am crate trained but whine when separated from my people, so please let me sleep in the bedroom on the dog bed.
