My story

Hi! I'm Shirley. For months, I was hiding out in an abandoned convenience store in a not very nice part of town. Finally my rescuers trapped me and now I'm learning that these scary humans aren't so scary after all!

I just got into a foster home with a few other dogs and a family! I'm learning what it's like to live in a home. I have to admit, it's not half bad! If you'd like me to be a part of your family, let me know. I promise to be a good girl.

Shirley is very timid around humans, but after a month+ in her foster home, she's making huge strides in her trust. She gets along great with all her foster doggie siblings and would do best with another dog in the home to show her the ropes of trusting her new family. As a puppy, she definitely likes to play, so a tolerant furry brother or sister is a must.
