My story

Monica is a PLATINUM PAWS PET. Her adoption fee has been sponsored by generous donors, Patrick & Nicole Watkins! Learn more at ohar.org/platinumpaws Do they have botox and hair dye for dogs? These pre-mature gray hairs are bogus and do nothing for my sense of fashion. I'm a no-drama-mama type of girl that just wants to chill, watch some Netflix, and eat junk food without others judging me. I don't crave attention like some of those other millennials and tend to be more introverted. If I am feeling social, I'll crawl into your lap for a few pets and some tender words of affection. Or go say hello to my fellow canine by giving little kisses on the face. If you're looking for a low key gal and think I can be the Ying to your Yang, connect with OHAR to schedule our individual meet and greet! Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! More about this rescue

Jim & Bettye Baker have been rescuing dogs and cats for many years and finally achieved 501(c)3 status. We bought 9 acres and built a building for this purpose and began a partnership with another local rescue that has storefront space donated to them in North Dallas. We pull dogs and cats from local city shelters after their adoption time has expired, get them vetted and chipped and offer them for adoption every weekend. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE WWW.OHAR.ORG and see all our adoptable dogs and cats.
