My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JAKE is a 3-year-old neutered male chocolate lab. Jake weighs 41 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Overall, Jake is a very sweet pup and any family will be lucky to have him as he adjusts to inside dog life. Jake likes snuggles with the resident lab, the couch and playing with toys.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. Adopters must travel to Maryland or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An application fee and adoption fee are charged to help cover the cost of veterinary care, and a reference check and home visit are required.
