Dexter and Coltrane came to our family 4 years ago. We adopted them as a pair since they grew up together all their lives from a friend who left the country. Dexter is now 11 years old and Coltrane is 9.
Dexter is your typical cat, only wants to be touched when he wants to be touch. But when he wants to be touch, he will be all over us, randomly appearing over our shoulders and rub his head onto ours. He does not like to be poked by adults but he is the gentlest cat towards kids. Not just to our newborn baby but to our playful 2 and 3 years old nephews. He will not raise his paws or hiss at any babies/kids. Overall, he's a cool cat. Doesn't know dogs exist in this world. Loves watching TV.
Coltrane, on the other hand, act like if he's a...dog. He wont leave your side. He comes when we call him over. He's always on our laps. He is very affectionate. Loves food and treats. He runs away from kids. He only loves adult humans.
