PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE VOLUME OF EMAILS WE RECEIVE, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A RESPONSE. AN APPLICATION IS THE FIRST STEP TO ADOPTION AND WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY.

IDGSR WELCOMES HADLEY INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Hadley is a female Lab/GS mix. Her mom Haley is a GS and judging by the puppies, dad is a Lab. Haley was a stray dog nursing her 4 puppies, when a pack of dogs attacked her. Mom was able to protect her babies and survived the attack, although she was in pitiful shape. Now the puppies are ready for adoption, and so is mom, Haley. She is listed on this site as well.

Hadley is a typical happy go lucky puppy who loves to give puppy kisses but he is still a growing puppy. Puppies are a blank slate and have a lot to learn about being good canine citizens.. They are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their new family. Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. Puppy obedience classes can help with puppy behaviors and socialization. With time, patience, guidance and training, Hadley will become a wonderful family member. She will be ready to go to her new home in a few weeks but applications are being accepted now.

If you are interested in adopting Hadley please apply by CLICKING ON THE ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.

All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise. Transport options are available to the Northeast and Midwest.

***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends***
Donations to help us care for all the dogs in our program are also greatly appreciated and may be made from our main petfinder page: http://IDGSR.petfinder.com
