My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, senior lady seeks a cozy retirement home for herself and her boy toy.
Hi! My name is Laila and my boy toy is Marley. I am 11 years old and a pipsqueak at just 4 lbs. Marley and I are a bit timid. We are tiny and the world can be a scary place at our size. Because of that we prefer a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle or comings and goings. All we need is a loving human companion and some warm blankets to cuddle up in. We have been trained to use pee pads. Like many chihuahuas we prefer not to venture out into the cold or wet to do our business. Guessing you don't use an outhouse!
As you can see from our pictures, we are a super cute couple. Check out my big brown eyes! If you see stitches on my forehead, it is because I had a little work done as they say. I had an unsightly growth on my forehead that has now been removed so as not to detract from my beauty.
Up to date on vaccines, spayed, negative for heartworm and Lyme diseases, microchipped and fresh from a dental cleaning, I am ready to move into my new life with Marley. Do you have room in your heart for 2 sweet seniors? We are very friendly. We would love to share our retirement with you.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
