My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cooli! Cooli’s a sweet, goofy, lovable, energetic girl who excels in her training. She is a Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) survivor from the Prince George's County, MD shelter. She needs to be an only dog, but she has the potential to go on walking dates, which she has done successfully. Her trainer is happy to speak with anyone interested in making her a part of their family. Cooli weighs 55 lbs and is 4-5 years old.

Cooli would do best in a home with a yard to run in, because she's young and active and sometimes gets a major case of the zoomies, along with 2-3 walks a day. She'd love to play fetch with a stick in the yard in her new home. Cooli is super smart, too, and will impress you with her puzzle toy skills. She takes treats very gently!

Cooli has wonderful house manners and is house trained. She also walks well on leash. She's spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and eager to find her very own family to love!  If you live in the DC/MD/NoVA area, your kids are grown and you’re looking for some furry snuggles, this girl is the one you want.

The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.

***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).  In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
