My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My husband and i adopted him in 2014 and it’s been amazing every single day since. The first day we adopted him we learned that he had not very good sight due to cataracts but he gets around fine. He is a very loving, cuddly dog. Over the last few months, Muppet has completely lost his sight and because of this has some anxiety. His anxiety attacks consist of barking, trying to be extremely close to someone, and whining, with most of this happening early morning. When we took him to the vet they just explained that it may be anxiety but did not offer any medications to help. He went weeks without an attack but has now been having them quite frequently and has become an issue with our living situation. Our entire family, on both sides, absolutely love him but nobody from our family or friends is able to take him. We do not want to let Muppet go but it is unfair to him for us to keep him when there is a home somewhere that can more efficiently take care of him now that he is a senior.
