Hi Everyone—I’m a 5-year-old domestic long-hair kitty named Prudence. I have beautiful gray
hair with just the right amount of white fur at my mouth and on my bib area. I was found by a
nice woman who saw me wandering outdoors in the February cold and kindly decided to feed
me. When she realized I didn’t have a home, the Billerica Cat Care Coalition was notified and I
have been living with my foster family ever since.
Due to being such a long-haired kitty, I look larger than I really am. When I was out wandering
around, my fur became very matted but now it is beautifully smooth. I have had dental work
and all my other vet needs have been taken care of, so I am now ready for a forever home.
Perhaps a home without other pets would be best. I am currently living in a foster home where
there is a very young kitty who wants to play with me. I’m not sure I can trust him so I usually
run the other way when he dives at me! I think I’d be happier to be in a home without other
cats but maybe I’m just shy. I do like to be petted and brushed and I’m content to sit close by my foster family while they pet and brush me! I will often sit on their laps!
I’m not sure about little children because they can be loud and come toward me too fast. I think
I’d be okay with older ones though because they understand how to treat kitties better.
I hope to find my forever home soon. I think I’d be great company for the right family! I love to
be petted while stretching out beside you on the sofa while you watch TV in the evenings. I’m
really no bother, just looking for a family to love me If you think, you're the right family, please
put in an application for me as I still have a lot of love to give! I'll be waiting! I am in perfect health and up to date with all my shots I am spayed and have tested negative for
FIV and FELV!
