My story

We would like to introduce..... Sadie

Sadie is a lively 1-year-old Lab mix with light blonde, wiry hair, and weighs approx. 35 lbs.

If you're looking for a dog on the go, that has a lot of energy, who loves to go on walks, run or hike, Sadie's your gal! With her energy, she does tend to pull when on leash because she just wants to go, Go, GO!! With some work, that could be corrected. She also has been trained to sleep at night in a crate. She does take a little time to warm up upon meeting but after that is extremely friendly.

Last fall, she completed a 4 week, in-kennel training course, where she learned basic commands like sit, stay, off, place, leave it, etc. She has gotten a little out of practice with that training but with some time working with her she could be back in awesome shape. She does not have much experience around other dogs and has shown some signs of food aggression. We believe she would do best with an active couple, or maybe family with older children.

We greatly appreciate the help and time of our fosters.
