My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a very sweet dog, he loves people and is very good with children. He's is a medium sized dog who needs to lose about 5 lbs; he's about 64 lbs. Jake is believed to be 9 years old.

He is a rescue animal; his microchip tells an interesting story: 2014 sheltered by Animal Services in Midland, TX believed to be displaced by hurricanes; 2015 shipped to the Seattle area and sheltered at The NOAH Center in Stanwood, WA in 2015. Adopted, but soon returned, because he didn't get along with their cat. In 2017, our daughter adopted him. In 2018, she couldn't take him with her to CA, so we agreed to take him.

Jake gets along really well with our other dog, a female German Shorthaired Pointer. Jake is good with other smaller dogs too. He does show aggression towards large dogs and, especially, other male dogs. There are male dogs in our neighborhood he doesn't get along with, so we need to find him a new home. We love him, our dog sitters love him, he loves to cuddle & needs a new home.
