My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kramer is Adopted

Kramer is currently being fostered in Independence Ohio, his adoption fee/donation is $200

Meet Kramer who is about 10 years old.
His Foster family says he’s the nicest and easiest foster dog they have ever had.
He comes to our rescue as a retired breeder from an Amish farm.
Not much is known about his history but we do know he’s adjusting to normal family living very well.
He recently had 14 teeth pulled, was neutered, and given his rabies and distemper vaccine.
A soft diet is a must and he likes most kinds accept fish.
He says that’s stinky and won’t touch it.

Coming from a farm and from what his foster family has seen, this pup will do best in another home with similar sized/aged dogs as he quickly bonded with his foster pack mates.
He is very much a social pack animal that just follows the other dogs everywhere. Kramer loves everyone he meets but given his age and activity level he would appreciate a home with older children.

Kramer didn’t come to us already potty trained but his foster family has said he learned very quickly by living with other dogs what is acceptable.
He is already able to freely walk around the house with almost no accidents and is only crated with his cavalier foster sisters for bed time and naps.
He even figured out how to tell his humans when he needs to go out by standing at the door and barking.

Kramer loves going on walks but can’t go too far because his front shoulder starts to give him problems.
Don’t let that fool you. This sweetheart still has many years of love to give.
His favorite activity is sitting next to his people on the couch and enjoying tummy rubs.
Behaviorally there are no issues but you will have to watch at feeding time because he eats fast and wants to go check out everyone else’s bowls.
Kramer does have a grade 2 heart murmur which is quite common to the cavalier breed.

Kramer is an absolute joy and just so sweet.
If you think you might be the right home for sweet Kramer, please send in an application through the Cherished Cocker rescue, but act fast because his foster family is quite in love with him.

Kramer is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative
