Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A few weeks ago, a woman gave my grandson a Jack Russell Terrier. I hadn't planned on having a dog, but decided to give it a try. At the time, I didn't know much about the breed. I live in an apartment. I have since learned JRTs are very high energy dogs who need experienced trainers and running room. The lady said the only reason she didn't keep him was because he tried to go after her cat. Rambo is friendly with children. I have no other dogs, so don't know how he is with them. He's a VERY loving and friendly dog toward people and children. I would love to keep him but his high energy in an apartment home is becoming a real problem. He's destroying stuff out of sheer boredom, I think. I don't have any place I can take him to allow him to run free and get the exercise he needs. With bad knees, I can't even give him long walks on a leash. While I have successfully house trained several puppies, over the years, I am at a loss for potty training a young adult dog. He is 1 year old.
