My story

Meet Miss Penny! She is NOT for adoption but is available to sponsor! She's in our sanctuary program and as she's up there in years, she's just hanging around, being loved on!

Penny's cost of upkeep is about 10.00 per day so we've thought of this really great idea! If you'd like to "own" her for one day a week, we can do this! Ok, not take her HOME but "own" her - as in pay for her upkeep! Hey - it means that you don't have to clean stalls! Ok, what it does mean is that you pick a day (maybe Saturday?) and send us 10.00 for either EACH Saturday, or how many Saturdays per month you'd like and we put it toward feeding and caring for Penny.

Cool beans? Hey - I always wanted a horse as a child and to "own" one, even just on paper, would have been SO cool. So go to BanditsPlace.org and work with our Paypal link. Thanks in advance!!!!

Why adoption is a great option

Penny, a East Hartland Standardbred other was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standardbred for sale in East Hartland, or seeking a Standardbred other from a breeder in East Hartland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standardbred breeders who help with Standardbred rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartland paves the way for another one to be saved.
