UPDATED BIO 9/26/2009: Hi there! It's me, Cubby! I just wanted to say hey. Not much has changed here. I'm 6 years old and 16 lbs. OK, so I'm no frou-frou Yorkie..... You can't put me in your pocket and take me everywhere with you. I'm a REAL dog! (shhhh.... don't tell the other Yorkies I said that!). Among my wonderful qualities includes the fact that FM says I have a bladder of steel. I'm not sure what that means, but she says it's a very good thing! I am a lovebug and just want a family to call my very own. I get along with everyone. Won't you please adopt me? Licks and wags! - luv Cubby.
UPDATED BIO 08/20/2009: Hi, I'm Cubby! Well, either that shelter scale was broken or I lost a few pounds (FM thinks the scale was broken!). See, I'm 6 years old, but I only weigh 16.4 lbs. My FM says I am a cutie-patootie! I'm her little bear cub. Get it? Cubby? I am being fostered in Boynton Beach,FL.
Well, what can I tell you about LITTLE ol' me? I am super friendly. I love everybody. I love kitties too.... I'd LOVE to chase them! haha! I am housebroken too. I walk well on a leash and LOVE to go for walks. I can entertain myself with toys, but I like it when you play with me more. FM thinks I'm silly when I gather all my toys in a row. Tomorrow I am going in for my noot-er. Do you know what that is? I'm sure it's no big deal, right? ...Right????
I've never really been around kids, but I don't seem to mind them at all when I see them at the park or on the street! FM thinks I'd be great in any environment, including a nice family with some two-legged kids. If you're looking for a sturdy guy who has a lot of love to share, I'm your guy. Adopt me, Cubby!
INITIAL BIO 8/3/2009: Cubby is an adorable Yorkie mix (probably Shih-zhu/Yorkie) who was surrendered by an owner who was too old to care for him. Cubby, at only 6 years old, was abandoned at an area shelter. His only hope of survival and a happy life was UYR. Cubby is big cuddly 19 lb teddy bear (but should probably be closer to 17-18 lbs). He is very friendly and won the hearts of the shelter staff. They BEGGED rescue to save this dog. He appears to get along very well with all the other dogs in FM's home, and so far has not had any accidents.
