My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldie needs a hero. She's is our little miracle girl. She always came by when we visited the factory where she was rescued, but wouldn’t let anyone touch her. When we finally trapped her to be spayed, we found out why. She had been abused. Goldie had been pregnant about six months prior, but suffered a traumatic injury that ruptured her uterus. The vet thought it was most likely from being kicked. Her spay surgery was so complicated that she actually used up one of her nine lives on the operating table. Goldie is a fighter, though, and made it through. Now that she’s no longer in terrible pain, she’s a friendly, loving cat who loves to be petted. She still flinches at times when you reach for her, as if she’s expecting to be hit, but when she remembers that now she can trust humans, she will climb into your lap or roll tummy up for more love!

Goldie needs a special home where she can feel safe and continue to heal her spirit. She would do best in a quiet home with no other pets or an older cat for a companion.
