Mr. Max is a four year old tabby who is looking for his forever home. Max was found abandoned outside by one of our amazing volunteers. He is a very low key and loves to hang out in the cat tree. He willingly accepts head scratches and drops to the ground once you start giving him a pet. Mr. Max is a talker especially when you open up a can of cat food! He would do well with a patient adopted who will let him take his time getting used to his new surroundings.

Mr. Max is fully vetted, tested and is litter box trained

We do not do adopt outside of the State of Maryland.

Submit Application

Visit our website to browse our adoptable cats and complete an application! https://www.baltimorecats.org/info/adoption

Interview

We will process your application and contact you with any questions.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, we will put you in contact with the foster parent of the cat you wish to meet! Schedule a meet&greet virtually or in-person.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you've met your match, your foster will walk you through signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee! Happy Tails!

Additional adoption info

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas before adoption. We expect your current pets to be as well.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$90 for any cat over 6 months
$150 for a pair of cats over 6 months
$125 for a kitten under 6 months
$210 for two kittens under 6 months

We have many wonderful cats and kittens for adoption!

We do adoptions generally by appointment only. All of our cats are fostered in individual foster homes throughout the Baltimore Metro Area. Meet/Greets can be arranged virtually, at the foster's home, at an adoption event, and/or at a mutually agreed upon venue (e.g. Petco or Petsmart). We hold adoption events periodically throughout the Baltimore Metro area, including Petco Gambrills, Petco Owings Mills, Loyal Companion Baltimore, and others!

The Feline Rescue Association (FRA) is dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted and homeless cats and kittens, be they friendly or feral, through rescue, adoption and spay and neuter. Our cats/kittens are fully vetted with age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV. We expect adopters pets to be as well.
