Newton was surrendered to Pet Search when a local cat rescue refused to help with his care.... Newton is a sweet 7 month old classic orange tabby. He has limited social skills as he was kept crated for many months. Newton recently was tested and is negative for feline leukemia/feline aids, fully vaccinated and neutered. His foster mom will continue to work with him to get him more socialized and comfortable with people. Do you have the love and patience to give this sweet boy a chance? $65.00 Adoption Fee for Cats/kittens $125.00 for Dogs and puppies
Adoptions include the following:
Dogs and Puppies: physical, shots appropriate for age of the canine, worming and flea treatment (Revolution); heartworm tested. All pets altered if vet approved; if not , a voucher which covers the cost of altering is included in adoption packet. Microchipping and registration with Avid is also included. A care package which contains food, collar, leash, toys and treats is included in the adoption.

Pet Search is an all-volunteer, non-euthanizing rescue and placement service that has been in Washington County since 1985. Pet Search's philosophy is that all pets deserve a second chance for a hoe and love. Pet Search has chosen not to use a shelter-type environment with kennels and cages, but perfers to "home shelter" animals with volunteers in private homes. Pet Search is a privately funded organization, relying on the generousity of fellow animal lovers.
Pet Search provides the following programs:
