Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amber. About 5 years old. 55 pounds.
We got Amber from the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA a few years ago. She was found at the side of the road. Amber has a sweet personality, smart, and not an alpha dog, but more submissive. My son cuddles with her and hugs her without any issue at all. Amber does have some anxiety, but we manage it.
She is overall healthy and we give her Apoquel daily to prevent any ear infections. She takes it well and she has no side effects. We are willing to help offset some initial cost of the medicine for the new owner.
We are looking for a loving home that can give her the attention and space to hang out with her pack. My family’s allergies just prevents us from really doing this.
